For a variety of reasons I do not market myself as a wedding photographer. Perhaps I am selling myself short because I do feel that one of my best attributes as a photographer is the ability to tell a story with my photographs. Who knows where my photography might migrate to in the future. Perhaps one day I will desire more to shoot weddings. Flash back to May 2015. My cell phone rang and I answered. On the other end was a lady that I had never met before. She was from Atlanta, GA and said that she was a patient of my uncle's who is a dentist. She said that my uncle had told her that I was a photographer in Asheville and wanted to know if I was interested in photographing her wedding over the July 4th weekend of 2015. I asked her a few questions and quickly determined that this was a wedding that I would feel comfortable in shooting. It was going to be a small wedding at a resort in Asheville. The dress code was "hippy nice".... she had me at "hippy nice". That is right up my alley. Here are some photos. I hope you enjoy.
